Twenty-four seems like one of those very awkward ages; not quite in my mid twenties, but not fresh out of college. Pretty standard of an age. However, I will say if twenty-four is anything like twenty-three I will be in good shape. At twenty-three I knocked a lot of things off my list:
- First time visit to Portland, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City, Syracuse and Chicago.
- Danced on stage at the Flaming Lips
- Wore my very first sxsw badge ever
- Was on not just one, but two(!) tour buses for bands I loved back in highschool and still to this date (At The Drive In & Ben Kweller)
This whole being twenty-four thing actually had a promising start. On July 28th I rang in my birthday the only way I knew how- day drinking punctuated by eating. Below is photographic evidence of all the amazing food and drink Austin has to offer.
